Hibiscus flower petals are used as a refreshing and traditional herbal tea. The petals impart a bright cherry red colour to hot water and provide a delicate floral taste with a zingy tartness (similar to blackberry) theses tunes are complimented with the sweetness of apple and the warm spiciness of clove.
Hibiscus is known to reduce blood pressure. Cloves have anti-inflammatory properties including Eugenol which has been shown to reduce the inflammatory response in the body. - Web MD
